This broad range of topics will help a variety of people whom have not used the Internet before. Many people do not have access to the Internet, or are not aware of the large amount of information and services available online. These guides have been prepared by expert library staff. The subjects have been selected by these library staff members in response to common queries they receive from members of the public.

With Internet access available in all public libraries in Ireland, the library service is in a unique position to help people who may be reluctant to use the Internet. It is hoped that the LifeSteps guides and website increase awareness of the extent of content and services available on the Internet, as well as providing simple jargon-free instructions on accessing this content.

The public libraries also stock books and other materials that can help you with all of the life steps on this site.
